Nova Southeastern University President George L. Hanbury II has appointed Elena B. Langan as the interim dean of NSU’s Shepard Broad Law Center, succeeding Athornia Steele.
Langan served previously as an associate professor of law, associate dean of academic affairs, and director of the Lawyering Skills and Values program at the Shepard Broad Law Center.
Langan received her B.A. in political science from the Johns Hopkins University and her J.D. from the University of Maryland, School of Law. She is a member of the Maryland and Florida bars, and is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the District of Maryland and the Southern District of Florida.
Langan is board certified in marital and family law.
