Mark Hobson has opened Mark D. Hobson, P.A., in Coral Gables. Hobson focuses on business matters, M&A, EB-5 offerings, securities laws, and other transactional matters.

Mark S. Roher has joined Jones Walker in Miami as special counsel in the business and commercial litigation practice group and a member of the bankruptcy, restructuring & creditors’-debtors’ rights team. Roher focuses on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, bankruptcy litigation and reorganization, commercial litigation, and assignment for the benefit of creditors’ proceedings.

Denise L. Jensen, David L. Hirschberg, and Christopher W. Rumbold have been named partners with Gladstone & Weissman in Boca Raton. The firm focuses on marital and family law.

James Burton, Austen W. Kane, Frank G. Mackoul II, James Boyle, and Manuel V. Souza have become assistant public defenders in the Fourth Circuit in Duval County. Burton, Kane, and Mackoul will work in the county court unit, and Boyle and Souza will work in the felony unit.
