THE 11TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT HISTORICAL SOCIETY and the Cuban American Bar Association recently hosted a symposium that discussed the history of local Hispanic judges and lawyers and how their backgrounds have enhanced and affected their legal careers. The symposium was moderated by Robert Kuntz, who guided the panel through a series of poignant questions that provided a retrospective account of the events that shaped their legal careers. Pictured from left are Kuntz and panelists Judge Mario P. Goderich, retired judge from the Third District Court of Appeal; Judge Adalberto Jose Jordan, a federal district court judge for the Southern District of Florida; former Florida Supreme Court Justice Raoul Cantero, and Frank Angones, a former president of The Florida Bar.
