E ighth Circuit JNC to fill Bradford County vacancy

The Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a Bradford County bench vacancy due to the death of Judge Johnny R. Hobbs.

Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, a registered voter, and must be a resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time he or she assumes office.

Applications are available from The Florida Bar’s website at www.floridabar.org.

A complete application and two copies must be delivered to Marcia Davis, JNC Chair, Bice Cole Law Firm, P.O. Box 1860, Alachua 32616, or hand delivered to Davis at the Bice Cole Law Firm, 5316 NW 140th Street, Alachua 32615, or emailed to [email protected], no later than 3 p.m., September 5. The inclusion of a photograph is encouraged. Please do not submit three- ring binders.
