G overnor appoints six to JNCs G ov. Rick Scott made six appointments to three judicial nominating commissions.Fifth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission: Donald C. Barbee Jr., 45, of Spring Hill, is the clerk of the court for Hernando County. He succeeds Michele Lieberman. Charles K. Ruse Jr., 65, of Ocala, practices predominantly in commercial litigation and foreclosures. He succeeds Del Potter.
Eighth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission: Norm D. Fugate, 54, of Williston, is the president of Norm D. Fugate, PA. He succeeds Kathryn McLeod Lancaster. Stuart S. Walker, 56, of Newberry, is the managing partner of Folds & Walker. He succeeds Kristin Jurecko Stinson. Adam Boukari, 29, of Alachua, is the assistant city manager for the City of Alachua.
Statewide Nominating Commission for Judges of Compensation Claims: Victor Marrero, 60, of Pembroke Pines, is the director of risk management for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.
