Launched in September 2008, the new Florida Bar member benefits workers’ compensation insurance program has received a lot of attention from law firms of all sizes.

During the first valuation period, the program qualified for a dividend return of 24.03 percent based on the group’s claim experience. Participating law firms recently received dividend checks equal to 24.03 percent of earned premiums paid.

Many participants have also elected to donate their dividends from the program to The Florida Bar Foundation.
