The Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section will host its 26th annual charity golf tournament October 19 at the Jacaranda Golf Club in Plantation.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to benefit HANDY (Helping Abused Neglected Disadvantaged Youth). HANDY annually serves more than 1,300 at-risk children who participate in comprehensive programs that focus on education, youth development, and economic self-sufficiency.
“It is an opportunity for us to give back and help some of the most vulnerable children in our community,” said Jeff Wank of Colodny, Fass, Talenfeld, Karlinsky, Abate & Webb, who has chaired the tournament for the past three years. “The golf tournament has grown each year as far as participation and monies raised. Our board is extremely proud of what we have accomplished.”
