The YLD’s Diversity Committee plans on continuing the diversity dialogue with another dynamic group of panelists at each location.

“We must keep having these diversity-related conversations so that issues and concerns pertinent to diverse attorneys do not fall by the wayside,” Committee Chair Sorraya Solages-Jones said.

Similar to last year, the symposium will begin at each location with a continental networking breakfast followed by three panels — Diversity in Bar Leadership, Diversity in the Judiciary, and Diversity in Law Firms/In-House Counsel.

The North Florida Symposium will be held at The Florida Bar Headquarters (114 Annex). The Central Florida Symposium will be held at Stetson Tampa Law Center (Courtroom). The South Florida Symposium will be held at Nova Shepard Broad Law Center (Large Lecture Hall).

The Statewide Diversity Symposium is free of charge and good for 3.5 General CLE Credits and 3.5 Bias Elimination Credits.
