Bob Fitzsimmons has joined Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell.

Stephen J. Padula and Joe M. Grant have formed Padula & Grant in Boca Raton. The firm will continue to represent clients in the areas of business litigation, construction litigation, and real estate litigation.

Joshua Jacobson has joined Gunster Yoakley’s Miami office in the corporate practice group; Samantha B. Carter has joined as an associate in the tax practice group.

James B. Porter has joined Fowler White Boggs Banker’s real estate practice group in the Jacksonville office.

The Unger Law Group has changed its name to Unger, Stokes, Acree, Gilvert, Tressler and Tacktill. Brian Stokes has been elected the firm’s managing partner.

Stephen C. Hunt and Gilda G. Romano have joined Arnstein & Lehr in Ft. Lauderdale. Hunt joins as a partner and will focus his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and business litigation. Romano joins as an associate in the litigation group and will focus her practice in the area of complex commercial litigation.

Erika Ronquillo has joined Gallagher & Associates Law Firm as an associate. Her practice will include insurance litigation, business litigation, and consumer law.

Roger J. Larue has joined Upchurch Watson, White & Max’s mediation panel.

Kathleen G. Reres has joined Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick in Tampa as an associate in the litigation department.

Lara Schenkman has joined Pathman Lewis in Miami and will concentrate her practice in the areas of business litigation and land use and zoning law.

Gregory S. Weiss has joined Leopold~Kuvin in Palm Beach Gardens. He is a commercial litigator. Weiss also has an extensive military law background and completed a one-year tour of duty in Iraq as the chief of military justice for units in Central Iraq. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.

Trenam Kemker in Tampa has announced that eight attorneys have been elected shareholders, including: Nathan A. Carney, who practices in the area of business reorganization and bankruptcy; Jacqueline Myles Crain, who practices in the area of health care law; Lara Roeske Fernandez, who practices in the area of business reorganization and bankruptcy; Nikole D. Garcia, who practices in the area of real estate transactions and lending; Heidi Hobbs, who practices in the area of commercial litigation; Michael J. Reeves, who practices in the area of business transactions; Lori V. Vaughan, who practices in the area of business reorganization and bankruptcy; and John A. Williams, who practices in the area of wealth planning and preservation.

Paul “J.J.” Johnson, Jr., has become general counsel to Michael Collard Properties in Winter Park.

Adorno & Yoss in Ft. Lauderale has added seven telecommunications industry litigation attorneys. Joining the firm as partners are Laura Coffy has joined Sachs Sax Caplan in Boca Raton as an associate. Coffy practices in the areas of zoning, environmental, land use, and governmental law.

Debra H. Crum of Gainesville has joined Kathleen C. Fox, P.A., in Alachua as an associate, and will focus her practice in the area of family law.

Cameron M. Kennedy has been named partner at the Tallahassee law firm Corry & Kennedy, formerly The Law Offices of William W. Corry. The firm continues to practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, and white collar criminal defense.
