THE BAY COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION recently helped area children obtain school uniforms. Foster children, as well as children receiving supervision and assistance from Big Bend Community Based Care, were in dire need of funds to buy school uniforms. In order to assist with the school uniform dilemma, local attorneys, working in conjunction with Big Bend Community Based Care, helped more than 100 local children obtain necessary school uniforms to comply with the Bay County Schools uniform policies. “We attorneys have benefitted so much from this community, and we need to give a little back,” said Joe Alldredge. Tammy Chambers, a supervisor at Big Bend, said, “We don’t receive many donations, and people forget that the children in foster care need school uniforms, too.”
