Veterans Day parade

SCOTT C. MURRAY, far left in the truck,
of Murray & Guari Trial Attorneys in West Palm Beach, joined colleagues, friends, and family to show their ongoing support to veterans by participating on the Palm Beach County Veterans Committee and The Friends of Veterans, Inc.’s annual Veterans Day Parade November 11. They rode in an army truck and tossed candy to the crowd gathered along Clematis Street in downtown West Palm Beach. This year’s event attracted more than 70 parade elements and more than 800 marching participants. The parade is coordinated by volunteers and is funded by donations from the community. The Palm Beach County Veterans Committee sponsors Memorial Day ceremonies and Veterans Day parades honoring the nation’s veterans. The committee receives no grants or loans from any government agencies. It relies entirely on private donations to pay the expenses associated with these celebrations.
