Jayne M. Skindzier and Catherine M. Carney-Richman have been elected partners with Cummings & Lockwood in Naples. Skindzier is in the real estate group, and is a transactional lawyer focusing her practice in real estate matters. Carney-Richman is in the commercial group, and represents corporations and financial institutions in their general secured and unsecured private financing activities, lenders in finance transactions in emerging markets, and other domestic and international private financings.

Josh A. Rubin has joined Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman in Orlando, focusing on business, banking, real estate and health-care litigation. 

Rachel S. Glorioso Dooley has joined the City of Miami Office of the City Attorney as an assistant city attorney. Dooley is assigned to the general government division, where she handles code enforcement matters and other quality-of-life issues.

Sandra Hinckley has joined Sykes Enterprises, Inc., a customer contact management services company in Tampa. Hinckley serves as director, global HR compliance, and employment law counsel.

Sara Holladay-Tobias has become a partner with McGuireWoods in Jacksonville.

Holladay-Tobias focuses on complex commercial litigation.

William J. “Josh” Podolsky III and A. Grady “Bo” Williams IV have become partners with Phelps Dunbar. Podolsky, of Tampa, concentrates in the areas of real estate, commercial transactions, banking, finance, general business, and corporate and partnership matters. Williams is a litigator in the firm’s Mobile office, where his practice includes admiralty/maritime law and construction, industrial, and corporate litigation.

Mark Trank has opened the Law Office of Mark A. Trank, P.A., in Ft. Myers. Trank focuses on labor and employment law, education law, business disputes and litigation, real estate, and local government law.

Paul A. Avron, Gavin C. Gaukroger, and Jeffrey S. Wertman have been elevated to partner, and David L. Gay and Andrew M. Hinkes to of counsel with Berger Singerman. Gaukroger, Wertman, and Hinkes are members of the firm’s dispute resolution team in Ft. Lauderdale. Avron is a member of the business reorganization team in Boca Raton. Gay is a member of both the business reorganization and dispute resolution teams in Miami.

Nicole Bermel Dunlap has joined FordHarrison in Tampa. Dunlap focuses on employment and labor law.

Elaine W. Keyser has become a shareholder with Littler in Miami. Keyser, focuses on employment and labor law, representing management.

Jeannie A. Hanrahan has been elevated to shareholder at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin in Ft. Lauderdale, where she is a member of the professional liability department.

Nicholas A. Brown has joined Carlton Fields Jorden Burt in Tampa as an associate. Brown focuses on trial support and appeals in state and federal court.

Maria Ramirez has been promoted to partner with Hogan Lovells in Miami. She works in the international arbitration practice group.

Randall L. Sidlosca has joined Fox Rothschild in Miami as a partner in the labor and employment department. Sidlosca represents clients in matters related to immigrant and non-immigrant visas, labor certification and priority worker petitions, dependent visas and employment authorization for spouses.

Daniel Devine has been promoted to shareholder at Santucci Priore, P.L.,
in Ft. Lauderdale.

Al McKenna of Orlando has been elected to FordHarrison’s executive committee. McKenna is board certified in labor and employment law.

Kimberly Madison and Melissa Rizzo have become partners with Adams and Reese in Tampa. Madison focuses on commercial property, real estate, and governmental law. Rizzo focuses on intellectual property matters, including the litigation of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret disputes.

Michael Schwager of Miami, Jamie Dokovna of West Palm Beach, Ryan Carpenter of Ft. Lauderdale, and Mark Stempler of West Palm Beach have been elected shareholders at Becker & Poliakoff.

Schwager focuses on complex commercial litigation, including bank litigation, class actions, consumer fraud, real property disputes, condominium association litigation, and general business disputes. Dokovna focuses on employment law and commercial matters, as well as condominium and homeowners’ association law. Carpenter is experienced in many facets of construction litigation, including lien and surety bond law.Stempler focuses his practice in the areas of construction law and government bid protests.

Kristin Y. Melton has become a shareholder de la Parte & Gilbert in Tampa. Melton practices primarily in the areas of administrative, environmental, water, government, and sports law.

Holly O’Neill has been named a partner with Broad and Cassel in West Palm Beach. O’Neill is board certified in wills, trusts and estates, and elder law.

Roger Slade has been named a shareholder with the Law Office of David B. Haber, P.A., and the firm will now be known as Haber Slade, P.A. The firm focuses on business law and litigation, construction law and litigation, homeowners’ and condominium association law, real estate and title litigation, mortgage and lien foreclosure law, aviation law and litigation, international business law, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy, employment litigation, and family law.

Laurence S. Litow has joined Burr & Forman in Ft. Lauderdale as a partner. Litow focuses on business and commercial litigation, including matters related to real estate and lender liability defense, construction lien litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, trade secrets and non-disclosure agreements, construction defect litigation, as well as litigation in banking, contracts, fraud, trust, bankruptcy, and probate.

Sophie R. Rothstein joined Kelley Kronenberg in West Palm Beach. Rothstein focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies.

Sean Langton has been promoted as co-chair of the trusts, estates, and probate division of Hoffman & Hoffman in Miami. Langton focuses on pre-mortem planning and post-mortem administration, as well as wills and trusts contests and litigation.

Eric Polsky in Miami and Neil Andrews in Orlando have become partners with Adams & Diaco.

L. Kent Koch, Ayers LePree, and Cristina A. Lumpkin have become partners with Bilzin Sumberg Baena Price & Axelrod in Miami. Koch represents real estate developers and institutional lenders throughout all stages of real estate development. LePree focuses on international taxation. Lumpkin advises clients on all aspects of environmental law.

Cari Roth has joined Dean Mead in Tallahassee as of counsel in the government relations, lobbying, and administrative law practice group.

Jennifer Davis and Anthony Fouladi have joined Clayton & McCulloh in Maitland as associates. Both Davis and Fouladi focus on community association law with an emphasis on the collection of delinquent assessments, lien foreclosures, and mortgage foreclosures.

Geri E. Howell and Mihai M. Vrasmasu of Miami and W. Edwards Muñiz in Tampa has become partners with Shook, Hardy & Bacon. Howell is a member of the product liability team. Vrasmasu is a member of the pharmaceutical and medical device litigation team. Muñiz is a member of the product liability team.
