Hayley Lewis Folmar has joined McConnaughhay Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver in Jacksonville, where she will focus on workers’ compensation and civil defense.

Genny A. Castellanos founded De Novo Review in Miami,
a company that provides solo practitioners, small law firms, and in-house counsel who do not have an in-house appellate attorney an experienced appellate associate to handle the appellate process and provide trial support.

Justin Jacobson has become a shareholder in Richard M. Knellinger, P.A., in Gainesville, which will now be known as Knellinger, Jacobson and Associates.

Matthew P. Ferry has become a partner in The Law Office of Warren W. Lindsey, P.A., in Winter Park, which will now be known as Lindsey & Ferry, P.A. The firm practices primarily in the areas of state and federal criminal defense.

Nicholas T. Zbrzeznj joined Frost Van den Boom in Bartow. Zbrzeznj focuses on civil litigation, business litigation, medical malpractice, and personal injury.

Matt McLauchlin has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Jacksonville as a partner. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in contract, business tort, construction, franchise, and employment disputes. He also defends businesses and individuals in personal injury and wrongful death matters.

Brandi Hawkins has joined The Cochran Firm South Florida,
practicing criminal defense, employment, and labor law.

Patricia Concepcion has joined Kubicki Draper in Miami where she will focus on handling personal injury protection and SIU matters.

John F. DeStefano, Jr., and Maxwell Minch have joined GrayRobinson in Gainesville. DeStefano focuses on corporate, securities, venture capital, estate planning, and taxation, with emphasis on entity formation and tax. Minch, a registered patent attorney, focuses on intellectual property and technology law dealing with patent drafting and prosecution, licensing and technology transfer, as well as corporate formation and governance, contract drafting and negotiation, and federal contract and grant compliance.

Joe Jacquot has joined Foley & Lardner as a partner in Jacksonville. Jacquot focuses on consumer financial services litigation for an array of industries, including mortgage services, Dodd-Frank Act issues, and consumer protection concerns.

Leslie Adams has joined Haile Shaw & Pfaffenberger in North Palm Beach. Adams focuses on bankruptcy protection, foreclosure defense, and intellectual property.

Roig Lawyers has expanded its Orlando office by moving to a larger space in its current Sand Lake Building office location at 7380 Sand Lake Road, Suite 600, Orlando 32819.

Jared “Jed” E. Dwyer has joined Greenberg Traurig in Miami. Dwyer focuses on white collar criminal matters, criminal and civil tax litigation, complex civil litigation, and violations of the Bank Secrecy Act.

Jill L. Aberbach has joined Kubicki Draper in Ft. Lauderdale, where she will focus on handling first-party property coverage, automobile, premises, and products liability matters.

Alex A. Wagner has joined the Lamchick Law Group in Miami as an associate focusing on commercial, construction, and foreclosure litigation, and real property transactions.

Maegan Bridwell has joined Kubicki Draper in Miami where she will focus on handling construction and insurance coverage litigation, as well as premises liability matters.

Joseph N. Alexander has joined Lieser & Skaff in Tampa, which will now be known as Lieser Skaff Alexander, PLLC. Alexander focuses on business and commercial litigation, real property disputes, landlord representation, title insurance claims, trust and probate litigation, and corporate and business disputes, including shareholder derivative and dissolution actions. He also represents community associations.

Robyn A. Bonivich has joined The Law Firm of Chris E. Ragano, P.A., as an associate. She will focus on marital and family law.

Tina M. Mroczkowski has joined Shutts & Bowen in Sarasota as a partner in its trusts and estates practice group.

Raul Perez Ballaga and Chad M. Freedman have opened Ballaga & Freedman, LLP, at 396 Alhambra Circle, Suite 204, in Coral Gables. Ballaga is board certified in real estate law and particularly versed in title insurance matters. Freedman practices in the real estate and corporate arenas, both as a transactional attorney and as a litigator.

Cynthia J. Dienstag has joined McLaughlin & Stern in West Palm Beach as a partner. Dienstag focuses on marital and family law and expanded her concentration to include domestic partnership matters.

Christine Hall has joined Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C., as technical services librarian.

Tamara C. Jordan has joined Murray, Morin & Herman in Tampa. Jordan focuses on civil defense, coverage, and first-party property claims.

Robert DeLoach has become of counsel with Kopelowitz Ostrow in Ft. Lauderdale. DeLoach will be a member of the securities litigation department.

Alejandro Arias has joined Holland & Knight in Miami as an associate. Arias focuses primarily on land use and zoning law.

Alexis Fields has joined Kopelowitz Ostrow in Ft. Lauderdale as a litigation attorney.

Dale Ledbetter has joined Kopelowitz Ostrow in Ft. Lauderdale as of counsel. Ledbetter represents claimants who were victims of investment negligence or abuse. His practice also includes representing medical providers in claims against insurance companies, especially regarding enforcement of prompt pay statutes.
