Ninth JNC to fill a circuit opening
The Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy created by the resignation of the Chief Judge Belvin Perry.
Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, registered voters, and a resident of either Orange or Osceola counties at the time that he or she assumes office.
Applications may be downloaded from The Florida Bar’s website at www.floridabar.org and are also available from Kimberly J. Doud, JNC Chair, Broad and Cassel, 390 North Orange Avenue, Suite 1400, Orlando 32801.
An original and an electronic copy of the completed application and attachments must be delivered to Doud no later than 5 p.m., August 22. The electronic copy of the application and attachments should be in PDF format and should be submitted on a CD or a USB thumb drive. Use a photograph on or as the cover page to the application.
