THE PALM BEACH COUNTY BAR recently presented a program for minority law students during the association’s annual Bench Bar Conference at the Palm Beach Convention Center, with more than 1,200 attorneys, judges, paralegals, and judicial assistants in attendance. The diversity session focused on Palm Beach County as a great place to live, play, and work and included speakers Roger Amidon from Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council and Eric Sain from the Palm Beach County Board of Realtors. The session also included a panel discussion that focused on why Palm Beach County is a great place to practice law. At the end of the program, students were paired with attorneys and were invited to attend the reception for networking with potential employers. The diversity seminar was organized by Alexcia Cox and Philip Hutchinson from the PBCBA’s Committee for Diversity and Inclusion. Pictured is Hutchinson, left, talking with law student Shawn Murray.
