Muir to lead Coral Gables Bar
THE CORAL GABLES BAR ASSOCIATION recently held its 61st Annual President’s Ball. The event featured documentary filmmaker Billy Corben, known for “Cocaine Cowboys,” “The U,” about the University of Miami football team, and the recently released film “Broke,” about professional athletes’ financial difficulties. At the conclusion of the event, the directors and officers were sworn into office by Judge Celeste Hardee Muir and presented with certificates of appreciation by Coral Gables Mayor Jim Cason. Officers include Immediate Past President Bruce Bounds, Secretary James Roen, Treasurer Tomas Pila, President-elect Kayla Riera-Gomez, and President Jane Muir.
