Amendments to family law forms

The Florida Supreme Court recently adopted amendments to a number of Florida Supreme Court Approved Family Law Forms on its own motion. The amendments were necessary in light of the implementation of e-service and e-filing procedures. In general, the amendments add language explaining e-service and e-filing, add e-mail as a method of service to the certificate of service for forms not requiring personal service, and add information about e-service and e-filing procedures to the General Instructions for Self-Represented Litigants. Other minor amendments are also made.

The Court invites all interested persons to comment on the amended forms, which are listed below and can be viewed in full online at

All comments must be filed with the Court on or before May 26, 2015, as well as a separate request for oral argument if the person filing the comment wishes to participate in oral argument, which may be scheduled in this case.
