THE FACULTY, STAFF, AND STUDENTS AT THE THOMAS M. COOLEY LAW SCHOOL’S Tampa Bay campus held a donation drive to benefit foster children at A Kid’s Place, a group residential care facility in the metropolitan Tampa area. “Community service is an essential part of our culture here at Cooley,” said Cooley Associate Professor Stevie Swanson. “I am fortunate to be surrounded by colleagues and students here who are always generous beyond all expectations.” A van full of clothes, toys, snack items, children’s dishes, cleaning supplies, gift cards, and other donations were collected at Cooley’s campus to benefit abused, abandoned, or neglected children housed at A Kid’s Place. “Cooley’s community response has just been outstanding,” said Mary Berg, resource manager at A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay.
