Five companies added to the Bar’s Membership Benefits lineup
Five new companies offering products and services ranging from analyzing judicial decisions to managing large numbers of documents to getting discounts for leisure time activities have been added to the Bar’s Member Benefits program.
The Board of Governors at its October Atlantic Beach meeting accepted the recommendation of the Member Benefits Committee to add the five companies to the wide range of products and services that offer discounts to Bar members though the Member Benefits program.
The five companies, presented by committee Vice Chair Duke Fagan, include:
• Ravel Law, (link coming soon) which provides computerized analytics of judges’ writings to “attorneys with instantly actionable data about how a judge thinks and write” including identifying major cases and outliers. Ravel Law can analyze millions of court opinions quickly, reducing the chance of important cases being overlooked.
• Lawcountability, (link coming soon) a cloud-based service that provides weekly training programs for lawyers focusing on practice development.
• Citrix Suite, (link coming soon) which offers a variety of programs and a cloud-based service that allow lawyers to work from anywhere, including remote access to files, file sharing, online meetings, and project management.
• NetDocuments/NetDocs, a cloud-based document and email management service that offers small firms the same tools used by large law firms. The program works well with a variety of Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and users can take advantage of the NetDocuments services without needing to exit those programs.
• Entertainment Benefits Group, which offers discounts up to 60 percent on a wide range of entertainment and leisure time activities, ranging from theme parks like Disney World, Six Flags, and SeaWorld, to Broadway and Las Vegas shows. Other covered activities include sightseeing tours, rental cars, and hotels around the world.
