FIU team and coaches

THE FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY College of Law trial team won first place at the 16th annual National White Collar Crime Mock Trial Invitational, hosted by the Georgetown University Law Center Barrister’s Council in Washington, D.C. FIU went 5-0 on its undefeated route to the championship. From the left are Coach Matthew L. Baldwin, FIU Law alum and Coach Anthony C. Hevia, champion students Joseph P. Glace, Nisha Mohammed, Marc Schmulian, and Julian V. Stroleny, Professor and Coach H. Scott Fingerhut, and Professor H.T. Smith, director of FIU’s Trial Advocacy Program.
