Lawrence J. Miller and Holly M. O’Neill have joined Gutter Chaves Josepher Rubin Forman Fleisher Miller in Boca Raton. They will practice in the areas of estate, trust and guardianship litigation, administration, estate, trust and related tax planning, including wealth transfer and preservation, as well as elder law.

Vernon Guirguis joined Kagan Law Firm in Ft. Myers where he focuses on marital and family law, as well as personal injury law.

Abigail Watts-FitzGerald joined Devine Goodman Rasco Watts-FitzGerald & Wells in Miami as a shareholder in the transactional group. Watts-FitzGerald focuses on acting as outside general counsel to a variety of for-profit and nonprofit corporations and on mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures; corporations; partnerships, joint ventures, and LLCs; tax-exempt organizations; sports and entertainment law and sponsorships; naming rights; closely held corporations, shareholders agreements, employment agreements, and restrictive covenants; intellectual property matters; and distribution and licensing agreements.

Roy L. Weinfeld, P.A., has moved to 800 Brickell Avenue, Suite 550, Miami 33131. The firm focuses on creditors’ rights and collection law.

Siegfried, Rivera, Lerner, De La Torre & Sobel and Hyman & Mars are joining to create Siegfried, Rivera, Lerner, De La Torre & Sobel in Coral Gables. The firm will focus on community association, construction, and real estate law. The firm also maintains offices in Broward and Palm Beach counties.

Aimee Collins Hitchner has rejoined the Calandrino Law Firm in Orlando as a senior attorney. Hitchner will concentrate her efforts on corporate and business transactions, with an emphasis on contracts, asset protection, and start-ups.

Keino Young of the Florida Public Service Commission has been named chief trial counsel for the commission’s Office of the General Counsel.

Kristin M. Ahr has joined Broad and Cassel in the West Palm Beach office as of counsel. Ahr focuses on complex real estate, commercial, contract, and business tort matters.

Jarian N. Lyons has joined Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.

Laurie R. Chane has become a shareholder with Johnson, Auvil & Pratico, in Dade City, which will now be known as Johnson, Auvil, Pratico & Chane. Chane focuses on family law and criminal defense.

Danny Burgess has joined Johnson, Auvil, Pratico & Chane in Dade City as an associate. Burgess’ practice areas include commercial and civil litigation, and real estate law.

Donald G. Peterson has joined Kevin F. Jursinski and Associates in Ft. Myers. He will focus on property damage insurance claims.

William C. Davis III has joined Smith Currie and Hancock in Washington, D.C., as a partner in its construction group, and Evie Lee Nichols has joined as an associate in its construction and government contracts groups.

Jenna Fortgang has joined Kelley Kronenberg in West Palm Beach. Fortgang focuses on mortgage foreclosure litigation.
