Vickaryous chairs Rescure Run
THE RESCUE RUN CORPORATE 5K took place in Lake Mary in March and raised almost $50,000 for the Rescue Outreach Mission, Seminole County’s only homeless shelter and transitional housing facility. Fifty-four corporate teams and 11 guns & hoses teams competed, comprising more than 855 individuals. Attorney James Vickaryous, who chaired the event, said: “The energy and atmosphere of the event were fantastic. There was a real sense of team spirit and a healthy rivalry among all the competitors. It was a welcoming sight to see so many runners complete the course, while also enjoying themselves and raising money for a worthy cause.” Vickaryous was also appreciative of the other attorneys who competed and the firms that helped sponsor the race, including Salfi & Sprysenski, Strawcutter Law, and Shutts & Bowen.
