Hillsborough County needs a judge
The 13th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a Hillsborough County court vacancy created by the retirement of Judge James V. Dominguez, effective on March 31, 2014.

Applicants must have been a member of the Bar for the preceding five years, registered voters, and residents of Hillsborough County.

Applications may be downloaded from The Florida Bar’s website at www.floridabar.org.

Applicants must submit a fully completed original and one copy of the application, along with a photograph attached to the original and to the copy, to Cynthia Sullivan Oster, JNC Chair, Bush Ross, P.A., 1801 North Highland Avenue, Tampa 33602, no later than 5 p.m. on December 27.

In addition to the original and one copy, applicants are requested to provide one electronic unredacted (PDF) copy of the application and one electronic redacted (PDF) copy of the application. Any material redacted by the applicant must be limited to exempt or confidential information pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, Florida’s Public Records Law.
