The 11th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is accepting applications to fill a circuit opening resulting from the resignation of Judge Ellen Leesfield.
Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, a registered voter, and must be a resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time he or she assumes office.
Applications can be downloaded from The Florida Bar’s website.
A complete application and 10 copies must be delivered to Marva L. Wiley, JNC Chair, 9999 NE 2nd Avenue, Suite 310, Miami Shores 33138 no later than 5 p.m., October 26. The inclusion of a photograph is encouraged. Do not submit three-ring binders.
If you have submitted an application for any of the vacancies that closed on September 7, you may alternatively deliver a letter requesting the JNC consider your prior application. You must, however, submit two additional copies of your prior application on or before the deadline set forth above.
