CFPA seeks ‘Paralegal of the Year’ applicants

The Central Florida Paralegal Association is now seeking nominations from law firms and corporations in the Central Florida area for CFPA’s “Paralegal of the Year” award.

“Annually honoring an exceptional paralegal with an incomparable level of performance is one of our many goals as a professional organization for paralegals,” said Marisa Green, chair of CFPA’s board of directors.

Green said if you have a paralegal in your firm or corporation you believe is deserving of the honor, submit a letter of recommendation nominating your paralegal for this award.

“Your letter should include your paralegal’s full name, how long he or she has worked at your firm/corporation, as well as a detailed explanation of the talents or qualities exhibited that make this paralegal unique,” said Green, noting that membership in CFPA is not a prerequisite.

The deadline for nominations is November 20 and nomination letters may be submitted by email to the board of directors at [email protected] or vice president/president-elect at [email protected] or mailed directly to CFPA, Attn: Paralegal of the Year, P.O. Box 1107, Orlando 32802-1107.

The recipient will be announced and honored at CFPA’s Annual Meeting/Holiday Social, scheduled for December 7.
