Fourth circuit needs a judge

The Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy resulting from the resignation of Chief Judge Donald R. Moran, Jr.

Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, a registered voter, and must be a resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time he or she assumes office.

Application can be found at www.floridabar.org. Be sure to use the revised application form for use beginning August 1.

An original paper version of the application must be sent to Chip Bachara, JNC Chair, Bachara Construction Law Group, One Independent Drive, Suite 1800, Jacksonville 32202; a. pdf version of the application with a color photograph must be mailed to [email protected] ; and a redacted version of the application excluding all exempt information under Chapter 119, F.S. or other applicable public records law must be emailed to [email protected], no later than 5 p.m., September 10. The attached. pdf files should be named so that the applicant’s name and “redacted” or “unredacted” is readily apparent in the title of the attachment.
