Rep. Charles W. McBurney, Jr., R-Jacksonville, will chair the House Justice Appropriations Committee and serves on the Legislative Budget Commission, Appropriations Committee, Justice Committee, and Education Committee.

Cindy Niad Hannah of ATD Mediation & Arbitration in Ft. Lauderdale has been named to the board of trustees of the JAFCO Respite Center for Developmental Disabilities.

Linda Suzzanne Griffin of Clearwater has been certified by the Supreme Court as a circuit mediator. Griffin also was a recent guest on 970 WFLA and Tampa Bay 10 News to discuss the fiscal cliff issues and was featured on Tampa Bay 10 News for her volunteer work with the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. She also was a speaker for a Florida Bankers Association webinar discussing the new statute on former spouses as beneficiaries on IRAs and other accounts.

Richard A. Greenberg of Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell in Tallahassee presented “How to Successfully Gain Admission to The Florida Bar” to law students in the professional responsibility class at Florida State University College of Law. He also was selected as a recipient of the 2012 Gene Taylor Memorial Award by the Tallahassee Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
