Lawyers run with the bulls
FLORIDA LAWYERS Jorge Sánchez-Galarraga and his son, Daniel Sánchez-Galarraga, ran with the bulls July 8 in Pamplona, Spain. Pictured is the Coral Gables duo on the street just minutes before the bulls came running toward them. “Fortunately, it was a clean run and no one was seriously hurt that day,” said Jorge Sánchez-Galarraga. The event, he said, felt like a city-wide ball or carnival, complete with spontaneous dancing and music in the streets, as well as parades, bands, and oversized figures dressed in costumes. The bulls are released promptly at 8 a.m. and the Sánchez-Galarragas were in the street by 6:30 a.m. “From the perspective of a Florida Bar member, I am of the opinion that gratuitous risk-taking is essential to relieving the constant pressure that we face in our everyday practice, and I am very glad I did it,” Jorge Sánchez-Galarraga said.
