The Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Stan Strickland.
Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, a registered voter, and be a resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time he or she assumes office.
Applications can be downloaded from The Florida Bar’s web site at www.floridabar.org and are also available from Patrick T. Christiansen, JNC Chair, 420 South Orange Avenue, Suite 1200, Orlando 32801, or Post Office Box 231, Orlando 32802-0231, phone (407) 419-8545.
An original and nine copies of the completed application must be delivered to Christiansen no later than 5 p.m. November 21. Be sure to use a photograph on or as the cover page to the Application.
