Ryan Poliakoff has joined Sachs Sax Caplan in Boca Raton as a senior counsel practicing in the firm’s community associations practice group.

Michael N. Jonas has joined Brookmyer, Hochman & Probst as a partner, and the firm will now be known as Brookmyer, Hochman, Probst & Jonas. The firm has offices in Palm Beach Gardens and West Palm Beach.

Lewis R. Cohen has joined GrayRobinson in Miami as a shareholder. Cohen focuses on banking and finance issues.

Christina Guzman has joined GrayRobinson in Miami as an associate. Guzman focuses on commercial law and litigation, with an emphasis on the financial services industry.

Robert Kritzman has joined Fowler White Burnett in Miami as a shareholder. Kritzman has a background in corporate transactions, including financings and mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate investigations, government relations, and a broad range of maritime matters.

Shelley S. Wright has joined Adam L. Bantner, P.A., in Brandon as an associate. Wright will focus her practice on family law, as well as assisting with the firm’s criminal defense and juvenile practices.

Maria S. Hossain has joined Broad and Cassel in Tallahassee as an associate in the commercial litigation practice group.

Tony B. Griffin has joined Glenn Rasmussen in Tampa as a shareholder. Griffin practices in the areas of labor and employment, litigation, and mediation.

Gonzalo Barr has joined Sanchez-Medina, Gonzalez, Quesada, Lage, Crespo, Gomez & Machado in Coral Gables as of counsel. Barr focuses in all phases of litigation.

Erskine C. Rogers III has joined Hicks, Motto & Ehrlich in Palm Beach Gardens as an associate. Rogers focuses on marital, family law, family mediation, probate, guardianship, litigation, landlord tenant, and collections.

Leandro L. Carvalho has joined Hicks, Motto & Ehrlich in Palm Beach Gardens as an associate. Carvalho handles personal injury protection cases for the firm.

Nicholas J. Roselli has joined Roselli & McNelis in Boca Raton as an associate. Roselli’s practice areas include personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice.

Caitlin M. Whalen has joined McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver, in Jacksonville. She will focus her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense.

Jason Whiteman has joined Fowler White Boggs in Ft. Lauderdale and will practice in the real estate practice group.

Wisniewski focuses on federal tax planning involving the use of closely held partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. He also handles corporate transactional work and restructuring family business entities for estate planning purposes.

James E. Charles and Julia L. Jennison have been elected as shareholders at Lewis, Longman & Walker. Charles shares his time at both the West Palm Beach and Jacksonville offices and represents private and public sector clients before local, state, and federal agencies and courts on wetland permitting, environmental and natural resources, storm water permitting, endangered/protected species, historic properties and cultural resources, sovereign submerged lands authorizations, navigation, and professional licensing. Jennison works in West Palm Beach and focuses on environmental, land use, water resources, sustainability, administrative, and real estate law.

Wendy H. Werb has become a general magistrate for the 19th Judicial Circuit serving serving in Martin and Okeechobee counties.

Adam C. Brown has been promoted to captain in the United States Marine Corps. Brown is currently stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, at Marine Corps Base Hawaii serving as a judge advocate for the Military Justice Office.

Bret C. Yaw has joined FordHarrison in Orlando as an associate. Yaw concentrates his practice on representing management in matters related to labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and retaliation claims.
