Jared Guberman has joined GPG LAW in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate. Guberman will focus on complex commercial litigation.

William J. Spratt, Jr., has joined Akerman in Miami as a partner in the health care practice group. Spratt counsels large health care companies and private equity sponsors though multi-jurisdictional transactions, including acquisitions, sales, mergers, and reorganizations of health care businesses, traversing complex state and federal health care laws and regulations.

Derek Barba has joined Hamilton, Miller & Birthisel in Miami as a partner and Schuyler Smith has joined as an associate.

Aliana Payret has joined Goldberg, Racila, D’Alessandro & Noone in Ft. Myers. Payret practices personal injury law.

Holly M. O’Neill has joined Broad and Cassel in West Palm Beach. O’Neill focuses

Mayanne Downs of Orlando has become chair of GrayRobinson’s litigation department.
