Michael Brady Lynch of The Michael Brady Lynch Firm in Winter Park spoke in Ft. Lauderdale for Mass Torts Nexus on the subject “Anticoagulant Uncontrollable Bleeding Litigation: Pradaxa, Xarelto and Eliquis.” Lynch also spoke in Orlando at the HB Litigation Conferences: Mass Tort Med School on the topic “Emerging Litigation: Eliquis Uncontrollable Bleeding Risks.”
Douglas J. Chumbley of Carlton Fields in Miami was appointed to the board of editors of the Defense Counsel Journal, a quarterly publication of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Kent Spriggs, a 50-year member of The Florida Bar and Tallahassee civil rights attorney, has edited “Voices of Civil Rights Lawyers — Reflections from the Deep South, 1964-1980.” Published by University Press of Florida, the book includes 26 eyewitness accounts from contributors who reveal what it was like to be a Southern civil rights lawyer in that era.
