The Rotary Club of Orlando has received a gift of 20 Dell computers from Shuffield Lowman to be used to establish a computer lab at the Salvation Army’s Men’s Shelter, under the supervision of Tim Ellorin.
The computers will be used by the shelter’s residents to learn computer skills and conduct employment searches to assist them in entering the workforce to become self-supporting.
In announcing this gift, Rotary Club of Orlando Past President Jim Stowers, who spearheaded this effort, remarked: “Shuffield Lowman’s gift demonstrates its commitment to the Central Florida community and exemplifies the highest ideals of the legal profession. The Orlando Rotary Club is proud to be part of this effort in helping those among us who are most in need.”
