6The National Gay & Lesbian Task Force will host its 16th Annual Miami Recognition Dinner. The Miami Recognition Dinner is an important South Florida tradition. It not only allows the LGBT community and its supporters to celebrate our heroes, it also provides a vital source of funding for the community on the local and national levels. The event is produced by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the oldest national organization dedicated to achieving equality for LGBT people and also benefits many organizations serving the Miami-Dade LGBT community. 11South Palm Beach County FAWL is hosting it's annual Thinks Pink Event. It will be held from 11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m. The fee for the event is $35 for members and $45 for non-members. $10 of all proceeds will be donated to The Lynn Cancer Institute.
