Media Awards
August 30 is the deadline for entries in The Florida Bar’s 2011 Media Awards competition. The awards are presented in recognition of outstanding journalism. Qualified entries consist of a story or stories that highlight the system of law and justice as it affects the people of Florida. Read more.

Reporters' Workshop 2011
Reporters from across Florida will converge on the Capitol for an intense 2-day workshop on Oct. 10 and 11. Judges, lawyers, and reporters serve on panels designed to breakdown libel cases, covering high-profile court cases, judges selection and election, and Florida's open government and public records laws. Journalists new to Florida or the legal beat are encouraged to apply.
