Privilege & Work Product Protection for Attorneys and Accountants in Federal Controversies & Litigation
The audio webcast program will cover attorney client privilege and work product protection issues in federal tax controversy and related litigation, including an emerging issue with respect to the Sixth Amendment right to counsel and the payment of legal fees. The webcast program provides ethics CLE credit, and will proceed as a series of hypotheticals which prompt discussion on the retention of accountants to assist attorneys in civil and criminal litigation and the various issues facing the accountant and attorney.

Brownfields Redevelopment: Powerful Incentives for Local Governments and Real Estate Interests (Audio Webcast)
Brownfields are properties which are not being redeveloped because of real or perceived environmental issues. In this seminar, local government and real estate development practitioners will be provided an overview of the procedures and programs now available for redevelopment of such sites in Florida. Briefings will be provided by agency officials, experienced City and County personnel who have effectively used the process and attorneys and consultants experienced in representing private development interests.
