This half-day course covers protecting intellectual property and resources, which companies are increasingly dependent upon; and, it starts with evaluating and protecting intellectual property and resources through an analysis of Constitutional and statutory provisions (such as copyright, trademarks, and other mechanisms to protect the resources) and then proceeds with a followup, including: employment covenant agreements (such as non-compete/solicit/ disclose provisions relating to employees and independent contractors), and concludes with an analysis of litigation strategies and procedures and relevant discovery issues to ensure the protection of the intellectual properties and resources.
