LLCs and corporations are the primary business entities formed and used in Florida today. Choosing between them can be very simple or very complex, depending on how much you know. This presentation will focus on when it makes sense to create a separate business entity and the key differences between LLCs and corporations, including basic terminology, types of organizing documents, agency, governance, voting rights, economic rights, taxation, and remedies available to creditors of the business entity’s owners.
