This seminar will cover numerous and extensive revisions in the 2010 version of the FAR/BAR Contract for residential transactions, its companion "AS IS" Contract and the Riders which are promulgated to accompany the Contract. The program will include an overview of the newly approved state-wide form Contract and its revised format; however, the emphasis of the seminar will be the substantive revisions, changes or additions to various provisions of the FAR/BAR-8 (rev. 9/07) Contracts and Riders, as well as the newly introduced Riders, which real estate practitioners need to be aware of and prepared for to advise their clients or use in residential transactions. These forms have been approved by The Florida Bar and Florida Realtors, and the presenters at the seminar are attorneys who served on the Joint Committee which revised the Contract forms.
