Board Certification Annual Fee
Pursuant to BLSE Policy 2.04(c), all board certified attorneys are subject to an annual fee for each area certified. The current fee is $150 for each area certified. The annual fee is an important revenue source for the Certification Plan since the program must operate on a self-sustaining basis. The annual fee is authorized pursuant to Rule 6-3.11(c), Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, and the amount is set by the Board of Governors.
Invoices will be mailed each year in February to the member’s mailing address on file with The Florida Bar. Please be sure your mailing address is correct. Questions regarding annual fees may be directed to Data Manager Julie Coiro at jcoiro@flabar.org at any time.
2013 annual fee invoices were mailed on Friday, February 15, 2013. Payment is due by Monday, April 1, 2013. Please note electronic payments cannot be accepted for this fee at this time. All payments must be submitted by check made payable to The Florida Bar and accompanied by the completed invoice.
