THIRD CIRCUIT JUDICIAL NOMINATING COMMISSION ANNOUNCES VACANCY IN THE COUNTY COURT OF DIXIE COUNTY

The Third Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission announces a vacancy in the County Court of Dixie County due to the retirement of Judge Frederick L. Koberlein.

Applicants must be a member in good standing of The Florida Bar, a registered voter, and must be resident of the territorial jurisdiction of the court at the time he or she assumes office.

An original and nine (9) copies of the completed application and attachments must be delivered to Andrew J. Decker, IV, Chair of the Third Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission. In addition to the original and nine copies, applicants must also provide in PDF format and on a flash drive or CD one (1) copy of the complete application with attachments and one (1) redacted copy of the complete application and attachments with all redactions made in compliance with Florida Statutes Chapter 119 and Florida’s public records laws. If you claim the right to any redaction, each redaction must be supported by citation to statutory or other authority.

The deadline for submission of the application is Friday, Jan. 11, 2013 at 5 p.m. No application will be accepted for consideration by the Commission unless all required copies and parts of such application are received by the deadline published herein. The tentative date and location for applicant interviews has been set for Feb. 1, 2013, at the Dixie County Courthouse.
