David Stone has become a panel mediator with Salmon & Dulberg Dispute Resolution in South Florida.

Lewis M. Killian, Jr., has joined Berger Singerman in Tallahassee as of counsel and a member of the firm’s business reorganization team.

Jason A. Zimmerman has joined GrayRobinson in Orlando as an associate and member of the firm’s litigation practice. Zimmerman will focus on security litigation, bankruptcy, white collar crime, and antitrust law.

Derrill L. McAteer has joined Smolker, Bartlett, Schlosser, Loeb & Hinds in Tampa as an associate. McAteer focuses on land use law, including comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning, special exceptions, variances, and various property rights concerns. His practice also includes commercial litigation, property rights litigation, and eminent domain.

Rafael Diaz has joined the Cooke Law Group in Miami. Diaz focuses on personal injury, premises liability, products liability, criminal litigation, and insurance defense litigation.

Maria A. Acevedo has been named partner at Homer Bonner Jacobs in Miami. Acevedo focuses on international business transactions and corporate law.

Meghan M. Clary has become a partner of Chorowski & Clary (formerly Chorowski & Associates) in Ft. Lauderdale. Clary and the law firm represent clients in all aspects of marital and family law.

Adam Schwartz has joined Homer Bonner Jacobs in Miami in its litigation group. Schwartz focuses on white collar criminal litigation; securities, health care, banking, education, class actions, and other complex civil litigation; government regulatory enforcement matters; and internal investigations.

Amy J. Galloway has opened Amy J. Galloway, P.A., at Victoria Park Centre, 1401 E. Broward Boulevard, Suite 206, Ft. Lauderdale, 33301.

David S. Brecher has opened Brecher Mediation, PLC, in Jacksonville. Brecher serves as a mediator and arbitrator of disputes involving torts, insurance, personal injury and wrongful death, professional liability, construction, warranty, employment, business and contract disputes, and other commercial matters.

Cory B. Suter has joined Stovash, Case & Tingle in Orlando as an associate in the firm’s banking and real estate litigation team, representing banks and other creditors with disputes involving commercial loans, real estate transactions, and debt collection.

Juan C. Zorrilla has joined Holland & Knight in Miami as a partner in the South Florida litigation practice group. Zorrilla practices in the areas of complex commercial litigation, international litigation, and bankruptcy and creditors’ rights.

Mander Law Group is the new name of the firm formally known as Greenfelder, Mander, Murphy, Dwyer & Morris. The firm’s lawyers include A.R. “Chip” Mander, David Murphy, Daniel Dwyer, Kimberly Morris, Khara Alvero, and Todd Thurow. The firm handles personal injury, criminal defense, family law, business law, real estate, and probate. The firm is located at 14217 3rd Street in Dade City.

Steven R. Braten has opened Steven R. Braten, P.A., in Boynton Beach. The firm will focus on community association law.

Michael S. Greene has joined Katz, Barron, Squitero, Faust, Friedberg, English & Allen in Ft. Lauderdale as a partner. Greene concentrates in the areas of real estate development, acquisition and finance, workouts and restructuring, design and construction, and hospitality law.

Greenspoon Marder has opened a Tampa office. Robin S. Trupp has joined the firm as a shareholder and will practice in the areas of appellate, bankruptcy and collection creditors’ rights, equine law, and litigation. Brian R. Cummings has also joined the firm and is a civil trial attorney and litigator. Trupp and Cummings will practice in Tampa and West Palm Beach.

Samuel C. Higginbottom has joined Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin in Tampa as an associate in the casualty department. Higginbottom focuses on admiralty and maritime law, general liability, premises liability, automobile liability, product liability, and SIU/fraud investigations.

Blake V. Dolman has joined Krupnick Campbell Malone Buser Slama Hancock Liberman in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate. Dolman will focus on civil litigation, personal injury, and wrongful death cases.

Natly Torres-Alvarado has joined McDonald Toole Wiggins in Orlando as of counsel and Nathan E. Wittman has joined the firm as an associate. Amanda L. Barton has joined Markowitz Ringel Trusty & Hartog in Ft. Lauderdale. Barton practices in the area of bankruptcy litigation.

Aaron Karger has joined Kalis & Kleiman in Davie as an associate. Karger will provide counseling and litigation support in the areas of commercial and real property litigation, and with landlord/tenant and foreclosure matters, as well as in criminal defense matters.

Cristina T. Sanchez has joined Weissman & Dervishi in Miami as an associate. The firm represents businesses and individuals involved in complex civil litigation, practicing in state and federal courts in both trial and appellate litigation, and in domestic and international arbitrations.

Julie A. Rountree has joined the Law Office of Heather B. Quick, P.A., in Jacksonville Beach. Rountree focuses on family law and is a Supreme Court certified family mediator.

Roger Slade has joined the Office of David B. Haber, P.A., in Miami as a partner. Slade represents financial institutions in commercial real estate and personal property foreclosures and loan workouts. He also handles business disputes, federal court complex litigation, including plaintiffs’ class action lawsuits, and international family law cases.

Thomas E. Sliney and Garry W. O’Donnell have joined Greenspoon Marder in Boca Raton as shareholders. Sliney focuses on wills, trusts and estates, governmental, municipal and zoning matters, and real estate assessment disputes. O’Donnell is a civil trial attorney and board certified in business litigation, focusing on complex civil litigation and commercial arbitrations.

Jarod L. Gilbert has joined Andrews & Manno in Tampa as an associate.

Gregory M. Munson has joined Gunster in Tallahassee as a shareholder in the firm’s environmental and land use practice, and will concentrate in the area of water use and water rights.

Melissa Visconti recently formed Melissa Damian Visconti P.A., and will serve as of counsel with Damian & Valori in Miami. Visconti focuses in the areas of state and federal court appeals, complex litigation, and receiverships. She is also experienced in criminal law, advising clients who are the subjects of or material witnesses in federal and state investigations.

The firm focuses on PIP/No-fault, bodily injury, uninsured motorist, fraud, homeowners, workers’ compensation, and other defense claims.

Travis Walker has joined Greenberg Traurig in Orlando office as an associate in the corporate and securities practice. Walker focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity and venture capital, underwritten and syndicated offerings, commercial finance and syndicated lending, and general corporate matters.

Craig T. Smith has joined Fowler White Boggs in Tampa as an associate and will practice in the government, environment, and real estate practice group.

Bartow-based Frost Van den Boom & Smith has opened an office in Gainesville, located at 106 NW 2nd Avenue. Ellen Blevins Burno has also joined the firm, and will be the attorney in residence. Burno concentrates in the areas of health care litigation, discovery services, and civil litigation.
