David Yamin joined Adams and Reese in Tampa as a special counsel. Yamin focuses on complex civil litigation through trial and appeal.

Andrew Abramovich became a partner with Boyd & Jenerette in Jacksonville. Abramovich focuses on insurance coverage and bad faith/extra-contractual liability litigation, complex civil litigation, commercial litigation, and appeals.

Jason Sternberg, Roland Potts, James VanLandingham, and Jason L. Mays joined Hogan Lovells in Miami as associates in the litigation and arbitration practice. Sternberg focuses on resolving complex domestic and international business disputes. Potts advises clients on litigation and arbitration matters with a focus on international arbitration. VanLandingham counsels clients on litigation matters with a particular focus on commercial disputes, administrative proceedings and health care law. Mays focuses on complex commercial litigation.

Brooke M. Benzio joined Rossway Moore Swan in Vero Beach. Benzio focuses on estate planning and administration, long-term care planning and elder law, and health law.

William R. Seitz joined Mase Lara Eversole in Miami focusing on personal injury, commercial litigation, admiralty and maritime law.

Marcie Oppenheimer Nolan, Edward C. Lohrer, and Aaron J. Pruss became partners with Becker & Poliakoff. Nolan works in Ft. Lauderdale and focuses on local government issues with a concentration on land planning projects. Lohrer practices in Ft. Lauderdale and is board certified in construction law. Pruss is also board certified in construction law and practices in Ft. Myers.

Sean A. Douthard joined McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver in Jacksonville, focusing in the area of workers’ compensation defense.

Lisa S. Lullove joined Roig, Tutan, Rosenberg, Martin & Stoller in West Palm Beach as an associate. Lullove focuses on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance and fraud.

Megan Richards joined Goede, Adamczyk & DeBoest in Naples as an associate. She practices condominium and homeowners’ association law.

John J. Parnofiello joined Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Ryles in West Palm Beach. Parnofiello focuses on personal injury, wrongful death, and premise liability.

Forrest L. Andrews became an assistant city attorney for the City of Miami in the general litigation and appeals division.

Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, headquartered in Washington, D.C., and Leopold Law in based in Palm Beach Gardens merged. Theodore J. Leopold and Leslie M. Kroeger have been named Cohen Milstein partners. They join the firm along with Florida attorneys Wallace B. McCall, Diana L. Martin, and Adam J. Langino. Practice areas include antitrust, civil rights and employment, securities fraud/investor protection, product liability, commercial litigation, consumer protection, employee benefits, ethics and fiduciary counseling, managed care abuse, public client, major catastrophic injury, human rights, and whistleblower/false claims act.

Eric M. Fresco joined Concepción Martinez & Bellido in Miami as an associate in the litigation practice group. Fresco focuses on commercial litigation.

Bill Allen joined Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt in Ft. Myers as an associate in the business and tax practice area.

Andrew Zaron joined León Cosgrove in Coral Gables as a partner. Zaron will lead the firm’s new bankruptcy and restructuring practice.

Amanda P. Berry joined Baker Donelson in Orlando as of counsel and a member of the financial institutions advocacy group and residential mortgage lending and servicing team. Berry represents mortgage lenders, servicers, and investors in consumer finance litigation.

Mi Hyang “Mia” Hong joined McConnaughhay, Duffy, Coonrod, Pope & Weaver in Sarasota. She will focus her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense.

Astigarraga Davis Mullins & Grossman relocated to a new office location at 1001 Brickell Bay Drive, 9th Floor in Miami.

Luca Bronzi and Amanda Star Frazer joined Broad and Cassel in Miami as senior counsels. Bronzi joins commercial litigation and health law practice groups. Frazer will work in the commercial litigation practice group.

Karina Xart joined Wilson McCoy, P.A., in Maitland as an associate. Xart focuses on employment and labor law.

Lorna Scharlacken joined Cohen & Grigsby in Naples as a partner. Scharlacken focuses on estate planning matters.

J. Breck Brannen became president and chief executive officer of Pennington in Tallahassee.

William H. “Billy” Hughes III became chief financial officer, Kory J. Ickler, secretary, Brandice D. “Brandi” Dickson, assistant CFO/CFO-elect, and Barrie Buenaventura, John C. Pelham, Jr., R. Terry Rigsby, and Donald D. Conn members of Pennington’s board of directors.

Adrienne C. Love and William D. “Bill” Horgan became shareholders with Pennington in Tallahassee. Love focuses on intellectual property and litigation. Horgan focuses on insurance defense litigation, products liability, and commercial litigation.

Nicolette Vilmos of Broad and Cassel in Orlando was named chair of the firm’s bankruptcy and creditors’ rights practice group.

David Baghdassarian and Rebecca Kibbe were named partners in the Miami office of K&L Gates. Baghdassarian practices health care and corporate law, counseling physicians, physician groups, and other health care entities on a variety of legal matters. Kibbe concentrates on product liability and toxic tort defense, with particular focus on asbestos defense.

Thomas F. Mullin joined Nason, Yeager, Gerson, White & Lioce in Boca Raton as an associate. Mullin concentrates in the areas of environmental law, water law, and land use law.

Andy Gaunce was promoted to deputy ethics and compliance officer at Tech Data Corporation in Clearwater. Gaunce will manage Tech Data’s ethics and compliance program throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Hung V. Nguyen became managing partner at Welbaum Guernsey in Coral Gables.

Shantel Woodard joined PeytonBolin in Orlando as an associate. Woodward focuses on real estate and association law.

David W. Marston Jr., and Alison Tanchyk relocated to Morgan Lewis’ Miami office. Marston focuses on complex commercial issues. He represents clients from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, computer software and hardware, media, and information technology. Tanchyk focuses on defending companies and individuals in criminal investigations and compliance and regulatory matters involving alleged Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and False Claims Act violations, and all aspects of complex civil litigation, including health care fraud, tax fraud, and securities fraud.

Grisel Alonso joined Michael Moecker and Associates in Miami. Alonso focuses on insolvency and liquidation cases.

Courtney M. Keller was named a shareholder with Greenberg Traurig in Orlando. Keller focuses on complex commercial litigation, with emphasis on cases involving real estate transactions, business disputes, and intellectual property matters.

Stacy Robinson Nickerson joined Your Towne Law, P.A., in Orlando as of counsel where she will lead the firm’s trust and probate group. Nickerson also focuses on administrative law and association and real property law.

Deborah Hembree joined Balch & Bingham in Birmingham, AL, as counsel and member of the wealth management and employee benefits, real estate, lending and commercial and estate planning practice groups.

Paul Messina, Jr., has joined Greenspoon Marder in Tampa as an associate in the litigation group concentrating in the areas of civil and real estate litigation.
