B roward County needs a new judge
The 17th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications for fill a Broward vacancy resulting from the retirement of Judge Gary Cowart.
Applicants must have been a member of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years, a registered voter, and must be a resident of the 17th Circuit at the time he or she assumes office.
The application form may be downloaded from The Florida Bar’s website at www.floridabar.org.
