Members of the public are invited to volunteer for two three-year terms on the Florida Board of Board Examiners.
The Supreme Court of Florida will appoint two public members.
A public member volunteer should possess education or work-related experience, such as educational testing, accounting, statistical analysis, medicine, psychology, or related sciences. A bachelor’s degree is required. Lawyers are not eligible. Public members should be willing to devote about three days of work a month. Service requires travel to various Florida locations to attend meetings and the examination, with travel and subsistence expenses reimbursed.
The vacancies will occur November 1, with the expiration of the terms of Carl Flack Logan of Gulf Breeze and Claude Byron Seltzer of Ft. Lauderdale.
