Board runoff races settled

March Board of Governors elections have resulted in four races being resolved. The voting also settled three Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors contests.

In the Fourth Circuit, Seat 2, Michael G. Tanner defeated Dale E. Workman 784 to 110. In the 12th Circuit, Seat 1, F. Scott Westheimer defeated Timothy A. Knowles 564 to 180. In the 15th, Seat 2, Ronald P. Ponzoli, Jr., defeated David I. Shiner 961 to 326 and the 17th Circuit, Seat 2, Diana Santa Maria defeated Debra Moss Curtis 687 to 616.

In the YLD races, for the 15th Circuit, Seat 2, race, Luis Delgado, Jr., defeated Cindy Diez 218 to 101. In the 17th Circuit, Seat 2, Sue-Ann Robinson defeated Jason Vanslette 184 to 179. In the 17th Circuit, Seat 4, Valerie Barton Barnhart defeated Paul J. Sodhi 270 to 85.

The winners of the races will be sworn in at the Bar’s June Convention in Boca Raton for two-year terms.
