The annual fundraiser for Legal Services of North Florida, Inc., is moving to the streets.
This year’s event on Sunday, April 6, from 4 p.m. to 7.p.m, will feature dancing in the street, as downtown Tallahassee’s Adams Street will be closed for the party in front of Andrew’s Capital Bar and Grill. There will be two stages, with bands inside and outside Andrew’s.
Performers include Daddy “B,” straight from New Orleans; jazz violinist Mark Russell; Randy “Big Daddy” Webster and Red Hot Java; Hip First; and the Richie Summa Trio.
In addition to music, there will be a silent auction, featuring a wide array of “fantasy trips” to Paris, a Mediterranean cruise, NYC, fishing in Alberta or British Columbia, California wine country, Disney, Charleston, New Orleans, name-your-sporting-event, or any other place your heart desires. General admission is $20 per person, and $100 patron tickets include early entry at 3 p.m. to a VIP champagne reception and other perks.
