Lisa Dasher
JACKSONVILLE ATTORNEY LISA DASHER spoke about the Informed Voter Project at the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida Annual Conference held at World Golf Village Renaissance Resort. Dasher educated attendees on judicial elections, merit retention, campaigning, and the impact of political action committees on judicial elections. The goal of the project is to educate communities on the importance of an informed vote and fair judges. Dasher was one of four panelists to speak to the group; the others spoke on Amendments 1, 2, and 3 on the November ballot. The Informed Voters Project is an initiative of the National Association of Women Judges. Justice Barbara Pariente is spearheading the project in Florida. The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association is organizing the project locally. To learn more about the Informed Voters Project and the November ballot, visit http://ivp.nawj.org.
