The Florida Bar is accepting applications for one lawyer vacancy on the 19th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission, due to the appointment of Alan O. Forst to the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
The Florida Bar must nominate three lawyers for this vacancy to the governor for his appointment. The appointee will serve the remainder of a four-year term, commencing immediately upon appointment and ending June 30, 2016.
Applicants must be engaged in the practice of law and a resident of the territorial jurisdiction served by the commission to which the member is applying. Applicants must comply with state financial disclosure laws. Commissioners are not eligible for state judicial office for vacancies filled by the JNC on which they sit for two years following completion of their four-year term.

The Executive Committee of The Florida Bar Board of Governors will make recommendations to the governor.
