In an unusual step, the Georgia Supreme Court has prohibited an attorney from practicing before it. After missing several deadlines for filing a brief, the court ordered Michael Shumacher to show case in a brief why he should not be removed from the roll of attorneys practicing before the court for his failure to comply with the rules of the court and with court orders. Shumacher missed the deadline set for the brief.
